Commercial review and ongoing support including review sessions, Estimating and Quantity Surveying
Initially undertook a commercial audit and business review of Preconstruction, Contract Administration and Post Completion processes with recommendations made for each. Since 2021 we have provided ongoing commercial consulting support as well as supporting the implementation of the recommendations made with new process solutions. In addition, the VOLOCO team are continuing to provide both Estimating and Quantity Surveying support across multiple projects.
Refurbishment works to 3 identical high-rise towers including over-cladding of existing external walls, replacement windows and doors, roof repairs and replacement, replacement rainwater pipes, balcony repairs and replacement balustrades. Minor structural repairs and some internal works were also part of the project. The project was procured through the SEWSCAP framework by Cardiff Council.
Co-location of 3 new build schools (Cantonian High School, Woodlands High School and Riverbank School) including external works, demolition and new temporary school provision. The project has demanding targets for Net Zero Carbon, sustainability and community benefits to be provided. The project was procured through the SEWSCAP framework by Cardiff Council.
